Another Love Story in Verona

Vinitaly has just wrapped up, and as always, it proved to be an unmissable event for the wine world. We at Ricasoli were proud to be there, and we’d like to share some of the highlights of this extraordinary experience.

OperaWine: Showcasing Excellence

Our Vinitaly journey began on Saturday, April 5, with OperaWine, the exclusive event organized by Veronafiere and Wine Spectator. This prestigious American magazine selects 131 of the best Italian wines each year, offering wine professionals and journalists from around the globe a unique opportunity to discover and taste Italy’s finest.

We were honoured to be included with our Colledilà Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2021, the first single-vineyard Sangiovese born at Brolio. Awarded 97 points by Wine Spectator, Colledilà earned a spot in both the Top 100 and the Best of the Best, confirming its place among the highest expressions of Chianti Classico. For the occasion, we presented it in magnum bottles—enhancing its structure, elegance, and remarkable balance.

Four Intense Days at Vinitaly

From April 6 to 9, our stand at Vinitaly became a true international crossroads. We welcomed clients, journalists, and wine lovers from at least 26 countries and regions—from the United States to Japan, from Canada to Mongolia—all drawn to the rich history and exceptional quality of Brolio wines.

Each encounter was unique. What always strikes us is how vividly our wines resonate in people’s memories: stories of anniversaries celebrated with a bottle of Brolio, visits to the Castle, dinners with Francesco Ricasoli in far corners of the world, even a wedding celebrated 26 years ago followed by a return to Brolio for the couple’s 25th anniversary.

Emotion in Every Glass

Bringing our wines to Vinitaly and meeting those who love and follow our work is always an honour. But what truly makes the experience unforgettable is the deep, lasting connection we feel with our supporters.
