Brolio Highlights

Numerous people will have noticed that on the back of many Italian wines there is the wording “bottled at the source”, which indicates that the wine has been bottled by the producer. These few words, authorized by law in 2012, indicate something very important: these are wines in which the producer guarantees the supply chain.

Sometimes the wording becomes “entirely produced and bottled by”; this applies only to wines produced from grapes harvested in the vineyards of the company and fermented and bottled in the company headquarters or in its immediate vicinity, such as our Castello di Brolio, our crus Colledilà, Roncicone, CeniPrimo, Casalferro, or our Castello di Brolio Vin Santo del Chianti Classico.
