The Merano Wine Festival is back this year from 5 to 9 November in its traditional format. The theme for this 30^th Festival will be “The wings of beauty”, celebrating the charm of the world of wine and food.

As usual, the festival will take place in various locations of this South Tyrolean spa city. Among these places, the Kurhaus – the historic Liberty-style building on the Passeggiata Lungo Passirio – will be the heart of the event with tastings dedicated to The Official Selection. These selected winemakers have been chosen during the tastings of The Wine Hunter Award, and they will offer their prize wines for tasting. They have been divided into two sessions, the first on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 November, the second on Sunday 7 and Monday 8 November.

Ricasoli – which was awarded with five Gold medals – will be at the Kurhaus on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 November in Gallery B of the Rotunde. There it will offer tastings from the great 2018 vintage of its Chianti Classico Gran Selezione wines, with Castello di Brolio and the Colledilà and CeniPrimo crus.

Thanks to the platform WineHunter HUB, created last year, it will also be possible to follow the event online and to encounter the producers virtually. The Merano Wine Festival is the first great national event in which Ricasoli is participating with a physical stand this year after the forced pause caused by the pandemic.
