Welcome to Brolio!

The beauty of festivals in Tuscany between taste and traditions. history, nature, and gastronomy come together to offer unforgettable moments...

During the year-end holidays, Brolio and its Castle invite visitors to the heart of Chianti, where they can enjoy a magical atmosphere, a wealth of treasures to discover—both artistic and gastronomic—and a special program to celebrate Christmas and welcome the New Year. Below are a few opportunities for those wishing to experience the full magic of winter in this extraordinary corner of Tuscany.

Brolio invites you to a discovery-filled stay from December 29 to January 1, where history, nature, and gastronomy come together to offer unforgettable moments. Guests, greeted with a welcome glass at the Enoteca di Brolio, will have the chance to immerse themselves in the history and present of the Ricasoli family. They will enjoy a tour of the castle and winery, taste the 2024 Extra Virgin Olive Oil and wines, and savor the delicacies at Osteria di Brolio. For accommodations, there are options for every need: from cozy Agrirooms to independent farmhouses amidst the vineyards, such as the tranquil Capanna di Citerna or the elegant Villa Agresto.

The Osteria di Brolio will be open to all for the two major celebrations at the end of the year. Starting with Christmas lunch, when it becomes the ideal place to gather with loved ones.  Chef Franco Sangiacomo presents an exclusive menu for December 25, celebrating the flavors of Tuscan tradition with his personal and contemporary twist, all within the signature style of the Osteria. Among the wines selected for pairing are some of the gems from the Ricasoli collection: the 2020 Castello di Brolio Sanbarnaba, a Trebbiano-based white wine, and the 2016 vintage Casalferro.

On the night of December 31, Osteria di Brolio will welcome the New Year with a traditional gourmet New Year’s Eve dinner, featuring a sophisticated menu of seafood dishes, paired with selected wines from the Ricasoli collection. These include the new vintage of Chardonnay Torricella (2023) and, to toast to 2025, the refined bubbles of Metodo Classico, the Maison’s latest creation. The evening will be further enriched by delightful musical entertainment.
